Accordingly, Knopp has created the position of Corporate Accountant. This position reports directly to the Director of Corporate Operations and Business Development.The Corporate Accountant will assist with a variety of financial
accounting and reporting duties, including both internal reporting and external reporting. The Corporate Accountant will assist in all phases of closing and reporting functions, including preparing rolling 12-month budget and cash flow projections, preparing journal entries, analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts, research and documentation of complex accounting issues, and assisting with special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed. In addition, the Corporate Accountant will work directly with the Director of Corporate Operations and Business Development to support strategic financial
management aspects of the business.The need for independence and efficiency in this position is magnified by the Companys virtual structure, which includes employees who work remotely, high-value outsourcing partnerships, extensive use of consultants, and interactions with widely distributed clinical and scientific vendors.
