Position: Lead Software Developer (C#, .NET) - Pittsburgh
Eaton Corporation located in Pittsburgh, PA has an opening for a Lead Software Developer. The primary function of this position includes but is not limited to:
We are looking to hire a Lead Engineer, who is passionate about his/her trade, to join our team in creating web-based enterprise power monitoring solutions.
You will work with and learn from a strong team with a track record of shipping quality products.
You will be responsible for providing project, process, and technical leadership to one or more teams of developers and projects working in support of the goals of the Software and Metering Business Unit.
You will be involved in technical design including architectural and more detailed object oriented design.
Working closely with both Product and Project Management, you will lead development of functional requirements and perform some program management activities during project execution.
You will be involved in the complete lifecycle of our software with approximately 50% of your time being "hands on," engaged in software development.
Our Business Unit focuses on the development of software and hardware solutions that allow customers to monitor and manage their power system infrastructures.
Our markets include Commercial, Communications, Data Centers, Government, Industrial, Institutions, OEM, Water & Wastewater Treatment and just about anything else that requires power to operate
Requirements:
- Senior level developer preferably in .NET or C# technologies. JAVA development ability also OK for this.
- Leadership ability, either senior member or team leader.
- Project involvement
- Strong development background in creating applications with these languages.
