Every day Kelly Engineering Resources (KER) connects engineering professionals with opportunities to advance their careers.  We currently have an exciting direct hire opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in analog and digital engineering. Our client is an international leader in their industry and is headquartered in western pennsylvania.
In this role you will be responsible for:

designing low noise preamp and filter circuits
designing analog to digital interface circuits
closing Servo Loops
creating electrical documentation packages
providing electrical support for packaging including DFM/DFA
participating in project team work

We are seeking someone with a positive, can-do attitutde and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.  Additionally, qualified candidates must have the following:
 

BSEE required  (MSEE preferred)
10+ years experience in analog design, specifically in the areas of low noise amplifiers applications and Servo Control Loops
Strong background in circuit modeling
VHDL experience required
Experience with test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and high speed oscilloscopes
Ability to perform the following:


design, requirements flow-down analysis and production support of analog electronics used in sensors
electrical engineering for pressure/temperature sensors and systems
trade studies on electronic components
design and troubleshoot electronic problems in the laboratory and on the production floor
design and troubleshoot electronic controls circuitry


Working knowledge of:


design/CAD tools and a strong background in circuit modeling
EMI/EMC requirements and testing
AC power distribution and conditioning



FPGA experience a plus
