Carrier HVAC Technical Support AdvisorStandard Air & Lite a Pittsburgh based distributor for Carrier HVAC products is seeking a candidate to provide inside post sale technical support.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Provide technical assistance through telephone communication to dealers and contractors to anaylyze, recommend solutions, and resolve problems concerning equipment installation and operation- Facilitate the resolution of customer concerns and complaints- Provide the technical expertise to ensure that the dealers / contractors properly install and service equipment- Administer warranty policies with dealer/contractors and control cost- Provide warranty interface with manufacturer- Interface with dealer/consumer to provde customer complaint resolution- Provide site visits to analyze problems and provide resolutionRequirements:QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum of five years field experience/background- Associate Technical Degree or documented equivalent experience- Must have a working knowledge of HVAC products with an emphasis on technical service techniques- Strong consumer and customer relations background for dealing effectively with dealer/contractor base- Proven knowledge of service technicques and installation procedures associated to the repair and installation of residential and light commercial rooft top units, furnaces, heat pumps and air conditioners- Basic computer skills- Ability to read electro mechanical wiring diagrams
